The Engineering Information Center serves the teaching, learning, research and academic communities of the College of Engineering and Computing. As its core mission, EIC is responsible for developing and implementing the College’s Information Systems strategy. This includes the evolution of the underlying computational technologies as well as the communications infrastructure that serve the Center’s diverse set of constituencies. The infrastructure has played a key role in the continual growth of the College’s research and instructional programs.

Work from Anywhere

EIC APPS LOGIN (Citrix Portal) Log on to access your engineering applications. You can use all the applications that are available for you. Did you know that you could access your engineering applications such as AutoCAD,  SolidWorks, MS Office, and others from  anywhere you have Internet connectivity?
Connect and run your favorite engineering applications online. You will need to install the appropriate client to access your data from the FIU network.

Printing Services

Large Format Printing EIC has the capability of printing large posters up to 42 inches in width. You may select from photo glossy paper to other materials. Also, we have the capability of laminating your poster and foam board mounting. You may select from photo glossy paper to other materials. There is a setup fee of $ 5.00 dollars per poster.
Our Secure-Encrypted Connection service allow the user to have secure access to their network drives in the FIU Engineering Center.

Remote Connections

Access Your Data Your data folder ( H drive as well as other shared drives) may be accessed remotely.

This service will allow you to map every single network drive that you have been granted access to ( including your H drive). See “How to login to EICApps” for more details.
